CAPITAL CITY – DARWIN
This morning make your way to the airport for your flight to Darwin where upon arrival you will be transferred to your centrally located hotel. In the evening join your fellow travellers for a welcome drinks at the hotel, where you will enjoy canapes and drinks overlooking the pool.

Day 2, Saturday 3 August
DARWIN | Race Day
After breakfast and a morning at leisure, you will depart from the hotel and transfer to the Darwin Turf Club for a great day at the races. The day features the bet365 Palmerston Sprint and view the action from the Member’s Lawn enclosure. This evening, you have the option of attending the Qantas Darwin Turf Club Gala Ball, featuring world class entertainment.

Day 3, Sunday 4 August
DARWIN
Today is at leisure. You might like to join an optional sightseeing tour that may include Fannie Bay Gaol. Alternatively you may choose to enjoy the fun and games at the Calcutta Luncheon or join one of our optional tours which include a Barramundi Fishing Tour, a Jumping Crocodile Tour.

Day 4, Monday 5 August
DARWIN | Race Day
This morning you have time to study the form before being transferred to the Darwin Turf Club once again for a superb day of racing. The Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Day is the richest day of thoroughbred racing in the north and is the pinnacle of a unique and exciting racing carnival often referred to as a ‘Mini Melbourne Cup’. Enjoy the racing from the Members Lawn enclosure.

Day 5, Tuesday 6 August
DARWIN – KAKADU
Depart Darwin early this morning and travel deep into Kakadu National Park. View Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock with our Guide. After lunch board the famous Yellow Water Billabong cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people.

Day 6, Wednesday 7 August
KAKADU – DARWIN
This morning stop at Ubirr to view Aboriginal rock art believed to be 20,000 years old. Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River in search of saltwater crocodiles. We have an Aboriginal guide with us and with the special permission of the local people we will be able to go ashore in Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre. There is the opportunity for an optional scenic flight over Kakadu. You will be transferred back to your hotel after the conclusion of your tour.

Day 7, Thursday 8 August
DARWIN – CAPITAL CITY
This morning you will be transferred from your hotel to Darwin Airport for your return flight home. Your arrival at your respective airport concludes your tour.
