Richard Recommends Explorer Dream arrives for her first season in Australia in October 2019 following a total refurbishment including 60 new suites and Chef Mark Best’s Seafood Grill. Specialty dining choices also include Italian, Pan Asian and Japanese. Itineraries begin with the Shanghai to Sydney repositioning with shorter options available to or from Singapore and Darwin. Explorer Dream then sails every Sunday from Sydney’s White Bay to Queensland and back. From December, there will be New Zealand Cruises, the only 7 – night NZ cruises that exist. Then in February 2020 it’s back to Sydney for a series of cruises to Tasmania and Victoria.
